We had a free hotel coupon expiring at the end of this month and we took that as an excuse to take a Spring Break trip. The day before we left, we went shopping for ebikes with Karen and liked them so much we decided to incorporate them into our trip. (Electric bikes, or ebikes have pedal assist to make hill climbing easier.) Our destination was Boulder as we had been meaning to visit there for a while. We did a couple of plant tours in Boulder—the Celestial Tea Company and Leaning Tree Cards. Leaning Tree Cards also had a nice Western Art Museum.
We found an ebike store in Longmont, Colorado (a little north of Boulder) that rented ebikes. Somehow we ended up test riding them instead. We tried out several, but the Pedagos seemed to be what we were looking for. It took us a couple of days to decide to actually buy them.
We also visited the famous Casa Bonita (as recommend by Doug Holland).
We were so busy with activities in Boulder, Longmont & Denver that we didn’t make it to the mountains.
At the Holiday Inn Express in Goodland, KS, we found a six-pack of Tesla Chargers, but sadly, no Teslas.
