Our first Fall trip was interrupted by a hurricane chasing us home, so after the weather (and David’s cold) cleared up, we decided to take a Fall color drive.  We had seen an article about the covered bridges and Fall Colors in Indiana and decided to go there.  We started with covered bridges, and there are bunches of them, but after about a dozen, we decided we had seen enough.  We were also looking for apple orchards and found several.  We drove all the way across Indiana and a few miles into Ohio, before heading to the Southwest of the state to the State and National Forests.  We had a relaxing and scenic tour, but the bad weather again chased us home.  Here are some highlights from the trip.
